The AUSTRALIAN ROLLERSKI CHAMPIONSHIP is on again at Stromlo Forest Park in Canberra on April 15-16. This is the 12th edition of the event and the third time that the championships will be held as FIS international races.

The weekend includes a 1.2km Sprint on Saturday and a 10km distance race on Sunday, with shorter distances for younger juniors. All competitors in the FIS category are supplied with Swix Triac rollerskis, while Juniors and Masters entrants are welcome to use their own equipment. The event is supported by Cross Country Skier ( https://crosscountryskier.com.au/about-us/ ) and Alpine Timing (https://www.alpinetiming.com.au/ ).
Registration is open at https://www.snow.org.au/events/179600/ on the Snow Australia website until Monday April 10.

Junior cross country skiers born between 2006-2008 and actively training with a Snow Australia pathway program may also be interested to take part in the AUSXC JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT CAMP taking place concurrently in Canberra on the April 15-16 weekend. This camp is led by AUSXC and NSWACT XC coach Alexei Sotskov and 2023 AUSXC Development Tour coach Anna Trnka, and includes additional training and information sessions around the rollerski races. The Canberra Snow Sale is on Saturday May 13 at EPIC (Exhibition Park In Canberra).
The Snow Sale is an annual fundraiser, now running for almost 30 years. It is a great opportunity to buy and/or sell new and pre-loved snow sports equipment.
A full range of equipment will be available, with a broad selection perfect for skiers and snowboarders new to sport and families upgrading gear.
Please mark the Snow Sale date in your calendar.

?Looking to sell items?
Members of the public are invited to sell pre-loved ski and snowboard equipment, including skis, snowboards, poles, boots and outerwear at the Snow Sale.
There is an online lodgement process for submitting your items into the sale, more information on this will be sent closer to the event date.
Items can be dropped off and lodged on Friday May 12 at the Fitzroy Pavilion at Epic between 12pm and 6pm.
Only hardware items that are under 7 years old and in full working order will be accepted.
Please clean your items before bringing them to the Sale.
Any unsold equipment must be collected after the sale on Saturday 13 May, 3.00pm – 4.00pm. Unsold items must be collected after the sale.

?Can you Volunteer?
The Snow Sale is a supporter of NSWACT XC Programs. Program participants and families are encouraged to volunteer at least 2 hours to help make the day a huge success.
Help set up for the event on the Friday, sell items on the Saturday and/or pack up after the event.
