If you plan to join the crew on Saturday, make sure you are aware of the local road closures for the Snowy Classic bike event. Accommodation at CAC in Perisher is available for those who can’t get out of bed early enough to beat the closures.
Virpi will also be in town with the ORIENTEERING ACT EASTER CARNIVAL in the Snowy Mountains.
There are courses available (entry on the day) to try orienteering. Virpi is planning to assist with Come & Try activities for those who aren’t sure about entering the competition. Contact Virpi if you would like further information – komulainenvirpi@hotmail.com.
The website information (Easter 2023 – Australian 3-Days Orienteering Carnival (easterorienteering2023.com) is competition focussed, but it is a great opportunity for anyone to try orienteering (good/up-to date maps, well planned courses, feel the Carnival atmosphere).
