NSWXC Training Camp – Jindabyne
Coach: Alasdair Tutt + others TBC
A fun kick-off to 2015’s training and a chance to get together with your team-mates for some training.
Incorporating the Lake Crackenback Running Festival 5, 10 or 15km Trail Run Race.
Friday PM: Easy Run and Hill Bounding – East Jindabyne (optional session for those able to make it).
Saturday AM: Fitness Testing – Sport and Recreation
Saturday PM: Perisher XC Working Bee! Be prepared to run whilst carrying fencing all around the nordic trails to help get our trails in tip-top condition for this winter and get fitter whilst doing so. Bring long pants and some work/gardening gloves!
Sunday AM: Running Races – Crackenback
5km: Under 14 and below. ($10 earlybird entry)
10km: Under 18 and below. ($20 earlybird entry)
15km: Under 20 and above. ($40 earlybird entry).
Don’t forget to enter yourselves!
Sunday PM: Rollerskiing Skills – Skitube Carpark/Thredbo Village.
Make sure to bring: water bottle (at least 600mL) and holder to carry it whilst running/skiing, skate rollerski gear, helmet, hill bounding poles (about 5-10cm shorter than your classic poles), yoga mat and 2/3kg medicine ball (if you have them, highly recommended that you get them)
