ACT Sunday Junior Rollerskiing.

Who: Junior skiers aged 10-17 learning to rollerski and training for Interschools
When: 9:30-11.00am on the following Sundays:
- May 2
- May 9
- May 16
- May 23
(no May 30 due to rollerski races in Melbourne)
- June 6
(no June 13 due to long weekend camp in Jindabyne)
- June 20

Where: Stromlo Forest Park Criterium Track – meet at the side of the track
Cost: $100 for the Term (6 sessions), or $25/session.
NOTE 1 – This training is available only to participants who are financial members of NSWACT XC and have signed up for ACT Term 2 Training via the Store.
NOTE 2 – Athletes of a sufficient level who are training year round for cross country skiing may be able to join in State/National Team weekly training sessions held in Canberra, Interested athletes should contact Finn Marsland on finn.marsland@gmail.com.
Participants should arrive at ~9.15 am dressed and ready to train. Bring water, hand sanitiser, roller skis, boots, poles, sneakers and helmet. Contact
finn.marsland@gmail.com if you need to borrow/loan equipment.
Covid-19 Protocols
Do NOT attend training if:
You are unwell, including but not exclusive to cough, fever or other respiratory symptoms
You have been in close contact with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID 19, until you have completed the prescribed quarantine, even if you are symptom free or tested negative
You have returned from any COVID-19 hotspots on alert by ACT Health or NSW Health, , until you have completed the prescribed quarantine, even if you are symptom free or tested negative
You have been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting test results
You have been advised to stay at home by a health professional or ACT Health.
Check in CBR
All participants (or parents of participants) should have the Check in CBR App on their phones and must scan the Stromlo Forest Park QR code upon arrival to the venue.
Hygiene protocols include:
Social distancing (1.5m)
Good hand hygiene
Good respiratory hygiene
No sharing of equipment
It is recommended that participants download the COVIDsafe app
If you feel unwell during or after training please advise your coach and/or Co-ordinator immediately
All hygiene protocols apply to all participants: athletes, coaches, administration, parents and carers
These dryland sessions are conducted according to the protocols set out in the Snow Australia COVID-19 Safety plan for NSWACTXC dryland training. In addition to the session specific information on this page, all participants must read the information provided in the General Information For Participants that has been posted on Team App.
