The Long Weekend is rapidly approaching. There have been hints of winter. Snowmaking is underway and there has been just enough natural snow to leave vehicles with spinning wheels. The Nordic Shelter Wild Cams –
www.perisherxcountry.org – have been fired up so you can see what is on the ground there.
A draft LWE Camp schedule is attached. There have been many hours put to providing a varied, constructive and fun few days. Keep in mind that there can be last minute changes to any session, so be prepared to be flexible. Bring your ski equipment with you – if there is skiable snow we will try to take advantage of it. At the least, you will be able to discuss your equipment with Coach Alexei.
Please purchase your chosen 2021 NSWACT XC LWE CAMP item in the Store ASAP so we can make sure we have the staff that we need. We especially need to know who is attending the Disc Golf session on Saturday morning. Comprehensive information about the Camp and what you need to bring will be circulated a few days before the Camp.
Finally, Coach Alexei is now installed safely in his quarantine hotel room in Sydney after a marathon flight and will be actively involved in planning for the Long Weekend Camp and the 2021 NSWACT XC Winter Program. Information about the Winter Program will start arriving this weekend.
