NSWACT XC Group Dryland Training 2022 Term 1 – Session 7

SESSION INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS:
DATE: Sunday 27th March, 2022
TIME: 7:00am – 8:30am – Please arrive at 6:45am to allow time to put on your boots/skis etc and for COVID sign-in.
VENUE: Lane Cove National Park (Entrance on Cnr of Lady Game Dr & Max Allen Rd)
COACHES: Virpi & Vince. Training plan provided remotely by head coach Alexei Sotskov. Activities will include roller skiing and/or strength and conditioning exercises.
PODs: WE NEED YOUR HELP! Adult volunteers (with current Working With Children Checks) are needed to support the coaches at the training sessions. You don’t have to coach! The POD’s (Parents on Duty) are there to take attendance, help make sure everyone is ready to go on time, distribute bandaids, call for assistance if required, catch up on the latest news and generally do what parents do. It is essential that there be at least one POD at each session. Please contact Shelly (0434 906 620 or shelly.talbot73@bigpond.com) to put your name on the roster for Term 1. Please give her your WWCC number and date of birth. The information will be registered with Snow Australia for future reference.

SESSION REGISTRATION:
• Pre-registration closes at 5pm on Friday 25th March (to allow time for staffing and other preparations).
• No late registrations or registrations on the day will be taken.
• Registration consists of RSVP on this page and payment in the Store for either Term 1 or a single session.
By registering for training you indicate acceptance of the conditions of participation listed on this page and the attached waiver.

You MUST NOT ATTEND group training if:
• You are unwell with a cough, fever or other respiratory symptoms.
• You have been in close contact with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19, until you have tested negative.
• You have been tested for COVID-19 until you have received negative results and are symptom free.
• You have been advised to stay at home by a health professional.

EQUIPMENT:
Please arrive ready to train wearing Hi-Vis clothing, and bring water, hand sanitiser, roller skis, boots, poles, sneakers, helmet (No helmet, no training!) and other safety equipment such as wrist/knee guards and gloves are recommended.

HYGIENE PROTOCOLS:
All participants must take note of the following:
• Social distancing (1.5 m) will be practiced where possible.
• Good hand hygiene and respiratory hygiene will be practiced. No spitting!
• Disposal of tissues, etc safely and wash your hands or sanitise.
• Equipment and other items will not be shared.
If you feel unwell during training, advise your POD and/or coach immediately and arrangements will be made for you to be picked up by a parent/carer.

$35 per single session or
$200 for series of 8 sessions
to be purchased via NSWACTXC store PRIOR to session attendance.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT:
Registration for NSWACTXC Term 1 Sydney Dryland Training is open to current NSWACTXC members only. Registration is made by making payment in the Team App Store. Payment must be made prior to the session. If you are not a NSWACTXC member, please purchase membership in the Store or contact us. NOTE – 2022 Active Kids Vouchers can be used to purchase 2022 NSWACT XC Registration.
