Are you an experienced XC competitor and proficient roller skier? Join Coach Alexei for invitation-only training sessions during Term 2 on Wednesday afternoons and/or Thursday mornings.

Venues, activities and exact times may vary so information will be provided in a special chat room for the registered participants. Participants are welcome to attend one or both mid-week sessions and the general training sessions on Sunday (these will have a wider level of skills, and maybe you would like to help support some of the newer roller skiers while doing your own training).

For those who are not already enrolled in the Term 2 Full Program, these are dryland training sessions-only, no additional consultation, technique analysis or meetings. Just solid training sessions. If you would like to have the greater level of input from Alexei, please consider the “2022 TERM 2 XC TRAINING – FULL PROGRAM” in the Store.

If you would like be part of this special-purpose training group (and are not already enrolled in the Term 2 Full Program):
• Be sure that you have current 2022 NSWACT XC Registration (available in the NSWACT XC Team App shop for $110).
• Purchase the “2022 TERM 2 XC DRYLAND TRAINING – CANBERRA” item in the NSWACT XC Store – $190.
• If you prefer, you can purchase individual sessions – 2022 Term 2 XC Training – Single Sessions – $28.
• Join the Chat Group that is specific to this training (contact info from Finn).
• Return the Info, Medical and Consent form to nswxc1@gmail.com or complete the Jotform at 2022 NSWACT XC Registration.

If you know someone who is skilled and would enjoy these sessions but may not have received this information, or if you have further queries, contact Finn at fmarsland@snow.org.au

You MUST NOT ATTEND group training if:
• You are unwell with a cough, fever or other respiratory symptoms.
• You have been in close contact with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19, until you have tested negative.
• You have been tested for COVID-19 until you have received negative results and are symptom free.
• You have been advised to stay at home by a health professional.

EQUIPMENT:
Please arrive ready to train wearing Hi-Vis clothing, and bring water, hand sanitiser and appropriate equipment for the planned activities, i.e. roller skis, boots, poles, sneakers, helmet (No helmet, no rollerskiing!). Other safety equipment such as wrist/knee guards and gloves are recommended.

HYGIENE PROTOCOLS:
All participants must take note of the following:
• Social distancing (1.5 m) will be practiced where possible.
• Good hand hygiene and respiratory hygiene will be practiced. No spitting!
• Disposal of tissues, etc safely and wash your hands or sanitise.
• Equipment and other items will not be shared.
• If you feel unwell during training, advise your POD and/or coach immediately and arrangements will be made for you to be picked up by a parent/carer.

COST:
• $28 per single session or
• $190 for Term 2 (4 May through Term 2)
• To be purchased via NSWACTXC store PRIOR to session attendance.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT:
Registration for NSWACTXC Term 2 Dryland Training – Canberra is open to current NSWACT XC members only. Registration is made by making payment in the Team App Store. Payment must be made prior to the session. If you are not a NSWACTXC member, please purchase membership in the Store or contact nswxc1@gmail.com
