No one can say they have not received adequate notice for the 2019 KAC Charlotte Pass Residential Camp! Put the dates in your diary now. (Week 2 of the NSW and ACT September/October school holidays).
This will be our 6th such camp – competition free, parent free, with no groomed trails in sight. Ski to Mount Koscuisko, Thredbo, The Ruins, Mount Stilwell and wherever else takes our fancy at the time. Cross the Snowy River (over it by snow bridge, through it, or both, depending on the conditions). Phil will be back to build more ski jumps and Iris will be back to look after the girls with a ski and photo opportunity session. Rob Bath might teach some telemarking on track skis skills and Nathan will set an even more challenging ski orienteering course. Carla will return to oversee the yoga/pilates/stretching classes. Once again, you’ll have the option to take a dip in the Creek in front of the lodge (the ice bath challenge). For the more intrepid adventurers, we might even give you the option of snow camping for a night. We’ve got 3 months to come up with more crazy ways to enjoy Spring skiing and all Charlotte Pass has to offer.
Carla is already creating a t-shirt for all camp participants, the cost of which will be included in the overall fee ($550.00 per child – 5 nights accommodation at KAC, all meals, coaching and of course the t-shirt. $650 as from midnight Monday 16 September for late registrations.)
We reached capacity this year (50 kids and coaches), so it will be first in, best dressed for 2019. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
